Waitress job description

Provides guests with exceptional service from beginning to end, fulfilling each guests needs and sharing in-depth knowledge of our menu

Your responsibilities will include...

  • Placing and managing dine in and togo orders

  • Guide guests through food and beverage selection by going through the menu; offering drinks and suggesting Tacazo favorites; be knowledgeable of our offerings and answer  all food preparation questions  

  • Offer every guest a friendly and sincere welcome; be responsive and fulfill each  guests needs; thank every guest and offer a fond farewell  

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, professional appearance and demeanor to ensure  guest satisfaction; ensure workstation and uniform are always clean  

  • Prepare the dining room by setting tables, prepping stations and ensuring overall readiness  

  • Keep kitchen informed of any special dietary needs and special requests 

  • Must follow all cash handling policies and procedures. 

  • Follow Tacazo cleaning guidelines and complete end of day cleaning check list. (Cleaning bathroom, sweeping & mopping floors, cleaning prep tables, etc.)

  • Wiping and clearing tables

You should have...

  • Flexible schedule and ability to work days,  nights, weekends and holidays 

  •  

    Have a positive attitude and be passionate  about guest service 

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, energetic  environment 

  • Ability to handle and move objects of up to  20lbs 

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills 

  • Strong teamwork orientation 

Pay rate: $11/hr + tips

($15-$25+/hr after tips)
